Ten on Tuesday

Today's isn't online yet, so I picked an oldie for my blog.

10 favorite actors/actresses

  1. Jack Bauer. I mean, Kiefer Sutherland ;)
  2. Jason Statham (because I hope they'll make more sequels to Transporter)
  3. Bruce Willis (do you see the strong silent-type resemblance occuring here?)
  4. Clive Owen (very promising in Inside Man)
  5. Colin Firth (because there is no other Mr. Darcy or Mark Darcy)
  6. Uma Thurman (so cool in Kill Bill, so funny in Prime)
  7. Sandra Bullock (can't help it, just love her)
  8. Jennifer Aniston (always funny)
  9. Reese Witherspoon (same as Sandy, and she is GOOD in Walk The Line AND the girl can sing!)
  10. Kirsten Dunst (too cute, can't help it)

disclaimer: not necessarily in this order. subject to change every few movies or mood:)

My top ten on tuesday (or well it's actually already thursday..running behind on schedule here)

1) Sandra Bullock, No and I mean No. Just for giving that to me..she's number one.
2) Meg Ryan, There's no real chickflick that would't be cool with her in it.
3) Angelina Jolie, especially as lara croft. Cause I've got hormones to, and lesbian feelings ofcourse.
4) John Hannah, cause he like's to quote monty python.
5) Paul Bettany - Chaucer in a knights tale, and chickflick material too.
6) Patrick Dempsey, cause he makes grey's anatomy so worth while.
7) Uma Thurman, Just so I can call her UMA. (Yeah..you know the tone I'm using)
8) Jack Bauer, gleb gleb.. Is his real name Kiefer? No, and I mean NO! For me he's Jack, My Jack at that! :)
9 & 10) No list would be complete without Keanu Reeves and Brad Pitt.

You wonder why Jason Statham's not on the list? He certainly has glebberlicious assest.. but just didn't make it. But maybe he'll score higher after trasporter 3! :)

Let me see what you girls have written...

Sandra Bullock, nuff said.

Meg Ryan... love her, but she hasn't done anything great since You've got Mail in 1998. Time for a new success to get back on my list!

Angelina Jolie... don't know... like her in Mr. and Mrs. Smith, but most of the time she gives me the creeps...

John Hannah... sweet... but just not high enough on my list...

Paul Bettany is playing the bad guy in that new Harrison Ford-flick... Firewall? Paul is cute.

Patrick Dempsey... I'm not watching Grey's Anatomy, so maybe that's it. And before that I do knew his name, but for the life of me can't remember a good movie he was in?

Uma Thurman... nuff said again. :)

Kiefer Sutherland... *sigh*

Keanu Reeves... I love the Matrix series, but not only because of him... He was very cute in Something's Gotta Give, but his role was just too small in it... I like most of his movies actually, but in most movies he's not really portretted (portraited?) as glebber-material? Still, think he is very glebberish off-screen...

Brad Pitt... I don't know...liked him in Joe Black, Snatch, Thelma & Louise, Ocean's 11 & 12 and as Mr. Smith, but I don't really fancy him... might be the blond thing, I really don't know...

Calista Flockhart... loved her as Ally McBeal, but what else is there?! And she's just too skinny for my liking :)

Sarah Jessica Parker... again, loved her as Carrie Bradshaw, but what else (that was any good) was there up till Failure to Launch? Hope to see her do more good things and go up on my list!

Emma Thompson... I think she would be on my list if I did 20 instead of 10 ;) Just a classical good actress.

Brenda who? Had to look her up on imdb.com. Only thing that jumped up from her list that I really remembered her from is Pride and Prejudice (the 2005 short version...)

Cate Blanchett... Hasn't really impressed me except as Galadriel... Think I need to watch more of her movies and get back to you on that!

Kate Winslet... Loved her in Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind! But usually think she's a tad too dramatic for me...

Reese Witherspoon... been there, done that :)

Toni Collette... Way underrated actress! She totally carried In Her Shoes, even with Cameron Diaz co-starring. Her part was the only one I liked in Clockwatchers (otherwise a dreadful movie) and she did great jobs in About A Boy, Shaft and the Sixth Sense. Had expected her career to take a faster and higher lift-off since Muriels Wedding.

Hillary Swank... I know her, but haven't really seen anything with her in it. Have to get back to you on her too!

Joan Cusack... as Toni way underrated too. Queen of supporting roles. High Fidelity, Runaway Bride, even Working Girls (1988!!), loved her!

Johnny Depp... would be on my Top 20. Don't think he's a glebber, but he IS a very good actor. He can pull of very different characters.

Timothy Dalton... Lost me cause of License to Kill and the Living Daylights... Should have stayed the h**l away from James Bond. Maybe I should see Jane Eyre and I'll be able to try and forgive him?

John Cusack... there are not enough John Cusack movies! Think he would be number 11 on my top 20. You must see Must Love Dogs. He is a good man. Not just cute or glebberish or funny, but marriage material ;) and it seems like he's still single? Ok, I know, so there must be something wrong with him, but I *heart* John anyway. Did you know his mom's name is Nancy? :)

George Clooney... I used to think he just had the looks... but he's kinda smart too. Loved him ever since ER and loves how he can pull off different characters too. He was surpringly good in Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?

Robert Downey Jr... *sigh* loved him in Ally McBeal. Love the way he looks... just sorry he is almost constantly in the news associated with drugs and violence... what a waste of talent and looks...

Colin Firth... nuff said. :)

Bill Nighy? Had to look him up :) Uhm... not my cup of tea, sorry!

John Turturo... except to see him in every Coen Brothers-movie. Great actor indeed. Love his "Jesus" in the Big Lebowski!

Alan Rickman. No, you needn't say more :) Love actors who play the part so good, you almost start to hate them altogether (Snape). It's that love-hate thing, you know? :)

Finally! Done! So glad there aren't more people posting on my blog ;)
